Art Sets

Art sets Designed to Inspire

These sets have been designed to engage the imaginations of your young artists. I offer these at parties, playdates or simply on a quiet afternoon at home, and every child comes up with something completely different. One of the most wonderful features of art is simply how open ended art materials are. Have a look at the project gallery on this site to see examples of how this set has been built!

Included in the cost of the sets is one online art session. We can spend this time chatting about ideas, building projects together, or sharing what your artists have built with the materials. I will add new classes each week.

I will also deliver your art set order to you within the greater Seattle area or you can pick it up from my front step! For greater distances I can mail your set and include a small shipping fee.

Fairy World

Build three sweet fairies and create a little fairy world for them on a beautiful round wooden base! Build a little tent, a garden, a small pond surrounded by rocks…use the fabric and some wire to create a shelter or a flag. Build something using the air dry clay…maybe flowers! Finally, light up the scene with mini string lights…and voila, a magical fairy world!

Everything you need to build two fairies! Choose their hair color, their clothes and then decide how to use the ribbons, beads and charms to create your perfect fairies!

**You can also order fairies that have already been made! They will come built and ready to be dressed and embellished as you wish!

Words Toolkit

Make three magnets, two door signs, and a wooden ornament. Decorate with gems and buttons, charms and some colored felt, and let me know what you want to say - I’ll make sure you get the letters you need!

Collage Toolkit

Browse through images, patterns, and colored papers. What catches your eye? Cut out bits and pieces that you like. In any shape! Lay them out on the included wooden board and experiment with how you might put your cutouts together. Try adding a few three dimensional objects, consider adding words - either from a magazine or you can cut them out individually. Think about what makes the picture interesting to you - and use markers to outline certain features or add details. A collage is all about your ideas! I will include a wonderful little container of Mod Podge to put a protective clear seal over your finished product after you have glued everything down!

Painters Toolkit

Grab some brushes, choose your paint color and get to work on decorating your canvases! You could design a set of two images to go together, or you can do completely different projects. Maybe something abstract? You can always start with a pencil drawing and go from there. Maybe a self-portrait? Sneak in a few charms and gems into your painting as well. Have fun! This set includes four paint bottles and a painting palette.

Architecture Toolkit

The possibilities are endless. Use the architects graph paper on your clipboard to design your creation. Test out different builds. How could you use the clay in your structure? Could it hold different pieces together? What about the wire? What can you build with scrabble pieces?
